Well Anet will be adding more storage for crafting materials. It'll eb a 2nd tab added onto your account. It only holds 250 of each item. Enjoy.

It has a limit but does provide more storage. Due to be released in a few weeks.

Well, I think many people aren't going to be satisfied with this. Judging by the solution, it seems ANet was concerned about server traffic and possible disk space. I guess I'm ok with this. It shows ANet acknowledged the complaints about lack of storage with all the new things involved in merged accounts, except I find it interesting that it is Factions only, and not for Prophecies. I'm not sure what to make of that. Seems if it was a solution to the merged account storage problem, it would have only been for merged accounts, but it's not. It's for anyone who has Factions, whether they have Prophecies or not. Oh well. I'm glad there is at least closure to the storage problem. I don't think those that are or will be unhappy with this will be getting anything better.

I would like to see Anet take this concept a step further and made tabs for other things as well, like weapons tabs, armor/shields tabs, and rune tabs with 20 slots each. Maybe they could then use the traditional 20 slots for if the other tabs reach their limit or for other things that dont fit in either of the tabs mentioned above.

I would love to see a feature like this for customized items. Having a place to store multiple armor sets for multiple builds would be very nice!

ANet is just never going to make everyone happy, no matter what they do. I for one am thrilled at the prospect of these extra slots. =)

For someone like me, that basically added about 20-40 storage spaces (how many materials are there anyway?).....that'll do, pig. That'll do.
